A reviewed version with preserved predecessors
Snapshot 2026-09-30-d6e32ee5 contains 41 national concepts and 39,835 default observations, plus available adjustment variants. The earlier version remains frozen. Source acquisition and publication dates differ; a current bundle can combine releases with different observation periods.
The BEA update contains Q2 GDP and August monthly accounts. Eight added concepts cover retail, industrial production, capacity utilization, claims and construction. Source-series identities are corrected for civilian ECI and unadjusted unemployment.
Reproduce a calculation
Use the snapshot ID, exact producer code, adjustment basis, transformation and reference range. Raw CSVs include source hashes and attribution; displayed exports reproduce the selected table precision. Saved views can load this version after a later update. The release-change workspace documents what changed relative to the original.
Frozen site histories are not a complete agency vintage archive. They establish the observations and metadata contained in these acquired files, not what was known at every earlier historical date.
Coverage and differences between release programs
A concept is a defined measure rather than a count of every available producer series. CPI, for example, includes distinct adjusted and unadjusted histories; the raw CSV retains both codes and labels their adjustment. Rate histories keep business-day gaps. Weekly claims use week-ending dates and compare with 52 weeks earlier when a yearly transformation is selected.
The latest observation period can differ across programs. GDP is quarterly, national income and prices monthly, and interest rates daily. Claims have separate latest weeks for initial applications and continued benefits. A common site bundle does not turn these into contemporaneous observations of a single period.
Corrections and reproducible research
The reviewed civilian ECI identity is CIS1010000000000I, and the unadjusted unemployment identity is LNU04000000. The earlier files remain available with their known errors disclosed. Corrected identities are not matched as if they were ordinary agency revisions of the same population.
The research workspace compares actual preserved values and provides a machine-readable change report. The economy-since-2019 comparison supplies exact baseline and latest inputs, with a percentage-point difference for the employment ratio. Keep these calculation exports, source metadata and the file checksums with a report rather than relying on a chart image alone.
