A schedule is a plan

The calendar stores each event’s UTC timestamp and its original named timezone, America/New_York. October events here fall in daylight time; the November JOLTS event falls in standard time. Timezone rules determine the conversion instead of a fixed UTC offset. Local display uses your browser’s configured timezone and leaves the underlying event unchanged.

These are selected national events for the four topic hubs. The list does not claim to contain every official economic release. A schedule can be changed or delayed. Check the linked producer page when timing matters; the verified snapshot date identifies when this publication checked the event.

Publication and availability are separate

A scheduled time passing does not move an event automatically to Published. Producer publication, site acquisition, validation and public availability are separate stages. This build has a frozen data snapshot and no active background calendar monitor. The displayed Scheduled status reflects the verified producer plan, not a running release detector.

When an updated file is acquired, the operator validates the affected observations and revisions before making them available here. An acquisition failure leaves the old approved dataset visible. BEA files currently available in this site snapshot are dated August 26; the calendar does not fill their newer scheduled releases with guessed figures.

Previous releases and research context

The acquired Employment Situation and GDP records preserve producer publication metadata separately from September 30 site acquisition. They identify which files and periods the site actually holds. A revision changes an estimate for the same period; a new observation adds another reference period. Previously reported prior values require an archived authentic vintage, which this first snapshot does not provide.

There are no proprietary consensus or forecast fields in this calendar. Empty forecasts are not replaced with site guesses. Calendar subscriptions and validated notifications are later workflow features; they are not active in this build.
