Information involved when you visit

A web server receives your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request and technical headers such as your browser's user agent in order to deliver a page. Those details may also be used to keep the site available, diagnose faults and investigate misuse. The basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the publication. Access records are kept only while needed for those operational or security purposes, or for an applicable legal obligation.

The site has no visitor accounts or contact form. Its search index is downloaded from this site and searched in your browser; search terms are not sent to a separate search provider. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser.

When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any other information you choose to include. We use it to respond to your enquiry, review a correction, or handle a legal or privacy request. This is based on our legitimate interest in responding to correspondence or, where applicable, a legal obligation. We retain correspondence while it is needed to handle the matter and any related legal obligations or claims. Please do not send sensitive personal information unless it is needed for your request.

Analytics

Umami is the publisher's analytics service. This site includes its analytics script, served from stats.kzfm.com. Umami's standard tracking script measures page views, referring pages, browser and device types, and approximate country. According to Umami's documentation, the standard tracker does not use cookies or store personally identifiable information. An individual site's configuration and hosting determine how long its analytics records are kept.

Advertising and consent

AdSense is the publisher's advertising network. This site build does not load advertising tags or request ads. On a site where AdSense is enabled, Google and its advertising partners may receive technical information and use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Recipients and international processing

The infrastructure used to host the site handles technical requests. Email providers handle messages sent to us. The configured Umami script sends analytics requests to stats.kzfm.com when it loads. Advertising tags remain inactive. Analytics providers may process information in countries outside the European Economic Area; their privacy notices explain their locations and transfer safeguards. We do not publish personal information from reader messages unless you agree or the law requires it.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you can request access to your personal data, correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. Send a request to info@admk.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
