Legacy snapshot: known corrections
This original frozen snapshot is retained for reproducibility. Its Employment Cost Index contains private-industry code CIS2010000000000I despite a civilian label; its advertised unadjusted unemployment variant LNU14000000 has no observations. Use the reviewed current snapshot for corrected identities. These original files are preserved without alteration.
A fixed research version
Snapshot ID 2026-09-30 identifies the national data acquired for this release. It contains 33 curated concepts and 22,993 default-series observations. The JSON also preserves selected variants and a published GDP growth companion. Versioned files below remain associated with this snapshot rather than becoming a mutable latest file.
A frozen snapshot records what this site acquired. It does not certify what was known before acquisition or at a specific historical intraday cutoff. Each producer’s observation period, file publication metadata and site acquisition timestamp remain separate.
The source vintages differ
BLS monthly observations in the selected default series run through August 2026, with the Employment Cost Index through Q2. BEA source spreadsheets in this acquisition carry August 26, 2026 publication dates and include Q2 GDP and July monthly national-account observations. H.15 selected daily values extend through September 28.
The common snapshot ID describes one acquired research bundle. It does not make all reference periods identical or update the BEA file to a later agency release. Status and source metadata should accompany any chart or citation drawn from these files.
How to reproduce a view
Download the JSON and README to retain underlying series definitions, variants, observations and source metadata. Use the combined CSV for raw default values. For an indicator’s transformed view, record its range, adjustment variant and transformation, then use the displayed CSV export. Its values are computed from this same snapshot.
A comparison link includes the snapshot ID and selected series. Separate panels retain units. Indexed comparisons select a shared starting observation and preserve that base date. Download the comparison CSV along with its exact settings when a published report needs a frozen numerical record.
Integrity and future changes
SHA-256 checksums identify files. Source checksums inside metadata identify the acquired inputs. Future source revisions receive a different acquired version; they do not overwrite these files. A confirmed site processing error is handled through the corrections policy with a distinct corrected version and an explanation of affected outputs. The methodology page describes the formulas and validation limits.
